As a professional quilting teacher, Wendy has crossed the US & Canada and flown as far as Australia and New Zealand to work with quilters. In 2002, she shared her techniques for construction a very primitive log cabin on HGTV. The historical Victorian hoes of Wmspt., folk-like log cabins, and antique furniture were all inspirational in the writing of her 5 books and traditional quilts and local forests and it’s injabitants continue as quilt subjects. Dozens of hanging quilts will reveal what 40 years of stitching looks like.
Wendy lives along the Loyalsock Creek in the quite village of Barbours where she is lucky to spot an eagle soaring by – the inspiration for her latest quilt.
